The campus is located in 2 Ang Mo Kio Drive, in Singapore. The centrepiece of the location is a circular spine enabling 10.000 students to navigate easily across the campus. A variety of interaction spaces were designed and strategically distributed across the area, to create a sense of openness and inspire interactions amongst user groups.
Maffeis Engineering’s scope of work is related to the construction stage of the ETFE cushion for the roof covering of the Institute of Technical Education in Singapore.
The ETFE double-layer film has been fully designed also in relation to the special patterns required by the architect. Clamping and secondary steel to support the ETFE cushion were designed as well, according to with the designed primary steel roof.
